3. How did you learn to read? There is this thing called public education and my mom made me go to school since I was like 5.
4. What foreign languages do you read? I can read bits of Spanish, but hardly.
5. What’s the funniest book you ever read? The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time by Mark Haddon
6. What books have changed the way you look at the world or the way you live your life? Wicked, Holes, Black Boy, Odd Girl Out, Fight Club

8. What are some of the scariest books you ever read? Anything by R.L. Stine
9. About how many books do you think you have read in your life? Starting in middle school, maybe 100+
10. About how many books do you own? 30-40 roughly. I haven’t counted though
12. How much would you say you’ve paid in library fines in your life? Ohboyy…the librarians used to let me off the hook until they renovated so…
11. How many books per month do you usually borrow from the library? I used to check out like 6 and 10 at a time when I was younger
13. Do you read in bed? Yes but I’m so shifty
14. Do you ever read while walking or driving? How can I read and drive at the same time… that’s just as bad as texting and driving. I have read and walked though.
15. OK, let’s get real. Where’s the strangest place you’ve ever read a book? I feel like there is no strange place to read a book.

17. Has anyone ever read aloud to you or you to them? I think I made my boyfriend read to me once.
18. What was the most difficult book to read? Running with Scissors because his experiences with an older man were somewhat explicit and I just didn’t want the images in my head.
19. What books do you intend to read but keep putting off? East of Eden. I’ve been saving it for the perfect time.
20. Do you buy new or used books, paperbacks or hardcovers, leather or collector’s? I buy new books usually but used in good condition, paperback generally, but hardback if the series just came out and I can’t wait for it to go to paperback.
21. How do you feel about writing in books? I will write in my school text books, my own personal books, and very lightly in pencil write in library books (but I usually just want to mark a passage, not deface the pages or anything)
22. Do you lend books? Not anymore. They never come back in the condition I gave them.
23. What were your favourite books as a child? R.L. Stine books, The Fearless series, Harry Potter (duh), and pretty much all of these.
25. Do you ever read the ending first? Never ever ever. Suspense is like adrenaline for me.
